Robert Barger

Prof. Barger took early retirement as a Professor Emeritus at Eastern Illinois University in 1994. In that same year he joined the Computer Applications Program at Notre Dame where he taught a number of programming courses (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, and Java), as well as a computer ethics course.

Cambridge University Press published his book titled Computer Ethics: A Cased-Based Approach in 2008. It has since been translated into Portuguese. He and his wife Jo reside in Holy Cross Village, just west of the Notre Dame campus.
